Art on the Green

This event is expired.
August 15th and September 19th, 2-5pm
The area's newest outdoor art event, Art on the Green returns August 15th, inviting the public to spend an Artsy Summer Saturday afternoon mingling with artists, watching demonstrations, enjoying live music and exploring original artwork, hand-made jewelry, vintage notecards and more, all in Livermore's beautiful wine country downtown.
Also featured this month is live music by K.N.R., sponsored by Livermore Valley Performing Arts Center. The band specializes in listenable live music that will have your toes tapping while you talk with friends and enjoy the art.
Art on the Green is a free event, perfect for groups, individuals and families to wander through and enjoy the art and music, and find unique handmade treasures. "Wonderful surprises and fun, colorful art and crafts are here right in Livermore," says previous Art on the Green visitor Laurie Erceg. "I look forward to seeing what's at Art on the Green each month."
Downtown offerings include wine bars, wonderful restaurants, two French bakeries, boutiques and espresso bars, and makes for a special summer afternoon of shopping, wine tasting and art.
The final event of the season occurs September 19th. This series has been created to increase awareness for the visual arts in the Livermore area. Sponsored by the Bothwell Arts Center and the Livermore Valley Performing Arts Center.
