Bolinas Poetry Camp For Girls

A week of poetry writing, adventures, picnics and fairy houses. Together we will explore what it means to be a poet and play with our creativity and imagination in wild and wonderful ways.
Ages 7-11
Tuesday-Friday: 10-1
Saturday: 12-4 (poetry reading and tea party open to family and friends)
Activities include:
Keeping a poetry journal
Being the Poet of the Day
Decorating the town with poetry
Painting
Making A Wish Tree
Building Fairy Houses
Picnics
Playing At The Beach
Have a tea party, invite friends and family and do a poetry reading of our original work from the week
and more!

About Hannah Yerington:
Hannah Yerington is a local poet and spoken word artist. She recently published her first book "Flower Songs" through Bolinas Publishing House. She knows on a personal level how empowering poetry can be for young girls. She is excited to share her love of poetry and art with the next generation of creative spirits. Her aim is to teach young women to respect, nurture and explore their creative capabilities.
