FREE Kids Hike to the Ancient Redwood

WHEN: Saturday, March 3, 2018, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
WHERE: Jack London State Historic Park, 2400 London Ranch Road in Glen Ellen. Meet in the Ranch parking lot (on the right as you enter the park)
ADMISSION: FREE for the hike, $10 parking fee due as you enter the park without a valid Park pass
Kids will unravel the mysteries of the 1,800 to 2,000-year-old Ancient Redwood "Grandmother Tree" on a moderate, 4-mile round trip, guided hike led by Bob Long through mixed evergreens and redwoods.
All kids must be accompanied by an adult and be able to hike 4 miles on uneven trail conditions.
Sorry, dogs are not allowed.
Be sure to wear sturdy shoes, bring water, snacks and a sense of adventure.
