The Great Reuse Race: Celebrate Reuse through a fun Scavenger Hunt in San Francisco
If you think you're a crafty upcycler, a glue gun pro, a reuse extraordinaire, a repurposing whiz or a thrift-shop queen (or king), come test your reuse mettle and prove that you're the best!
In honor of National Reuse Day, the San Francisco Bay Area ReUse Alliance is hosting a reuse themed Amazing Race-style scavenger hunt in the Mission District of San Francisco. Teams of between 2 and 6 will solve puzzles and clues, travel together to hidden spots, participate in upcycling and reuse challenges, and find unique people, places and things related to reuse. This race will test your upcycling creativity, challenge you to perform fun reuse tasks and discover interesting repurposed artwork, and reuse organizations in San Francisco.
The grand prizes for the top 3 teams include a $100 gift certificate to SCRAP, a $100 gift certificate to Building Resources and a $100 gift certificate to Thrift Town (First place team chooses first).
