Marin Primary & Middle School Presents Tik-Tok of OZ

This event is expired.

Attend a performance of “Tik Tok of Oz”, a musical performed by the talented middle school students of Marin Primary and Middle School and adapted for the stage by the school’s fine drama director, Charlie Queary. The play chronicles the overthrow of the evil Metal Monarch, a villain featured in over half a dozen of the “Oz” chronicles. Onstage at the Marin Showcase Theatre at the Civic Center, the young performers will not only act but sing and dance their parts to music written by Jef Labes and performed by jamming MP&MS band The Metro-Gnomes.

This chapter of Oz contains colorful characters such as an adventurous young girl and her mule, a rose princess and a sky fairy, a shaggy man and a copper man, and many fanciful others who promise to delight the audience with their wit and charisma. L. Frank Baum’s well-loved whimsical stories, with the perceptive and incisive wisdom of America’s heartland, are truly entertainment for the whole family.

Please note: There are two casts. While the main characters will be switching off, all actors will be in all performances.

Cost: $18, 8th grade and under $12. Purchase tickets here.
