Favorite characters such as the Cat in the Hat, Horton the Elephant, Lazy Mayzie, Gertrude McFuzz and the Whos of Whoville come to life in this musical adaptation, co-conceived by Lynn Ahrens, Stephen Flaherty and Eric Idle.
Seussical's JoJo, a young girl and "thinker of strange and wonderful thinks" leads the audience through a colorful story that resounds with relevant themes: believing in yourself, keeping promises and the rewards of being an independent thinker. Simple enough to be understood by children and universal enough to be meaningful to adults, Seussical features an amazing upbeat score with a range of musical styles from Latin to pop, swing to gospel and R&B to funk!
