Sunrise Hike at Deer Island

Join Ranger Mike Warner for a fun morning hike at Deer Island to discover the local wildlife and unique views of this wonderful preserve. This family friendly event is ideal for all ages. Degree of difficulty: Easy. Wear comfortable athletic clothing and sturdy shoes. Don’t forget to bring binoculars if you have them. We will provide water and healthy snacks. Rain or heavy winds will cancel. Meet at the gate on Deer Island Ln in Novato. From Hwy 101 in Novato, take the exit for Atherton Ave east 1.7 miles. Turn right onto Olive Ave and left onto Deer Island Ln. The gate is on your right.
