Sunrise Hike at King Mountain

Start your Saturday with a sunrise hike. Join Ranger Blain Thompson as we walk through your local forest to watch the sun rise from the beautiful King Mountain Loop Trail (approximately 1.5 miles). This event is ideal for all ages. Degree of difficulty: Moderate. Dress in layers and wear sturdy shoes. Don’t forget to bring water and snacks. Rain will cancel. We request that no pets (except service animals) attend. Meet at the gate at the end of Ridgecrest Rd in Kentfield. DIRECTIONS: From Hwy 101 in Larkspur, take the exit for Sir Francis Drake Blvd west 2.1 miles. Turn left onto College Ave, right onto Woodland Rd, left onto Evergreen Dr, second right to stay on Evergreen, left onto Ridgecrest Rd, and follow to end (dead end).
