It is a small hospital and the nursing staff has been there forever and is really great. We really loved our L&D nurses and maternity nurses. This was my first and only birth experience, so I'm not sure if this happens everywhere, but our only complaint was that they would disturb us and take the baby (to check/weigh/etc...) when we were all sleeping. One time this was very aggravating as getting to the point of sleep for all of us had been a very long process. I would just be clear with the nurses that there are times when you would prefer not to be disturbed (like when you are all sleeping - seems common sense, but maybe not). Other than that one thing, we couldn't have been happier. Had an awesome view of Mt. Tam from my room and felt very well cared for.
