12th Woodside Day of the Horse - 'Saturday Night at the Movies'

The Woodside Day of the Horse, is a celebration of our equine friends with a day of FUN and FESTIVITIES. This year's theme is SATURDAY NIGHT AT THE MOVIES!!
Join the nearly 2,000 people who flock to Woodside on the second Saturday of October to enjoy a glimpse of rural America right here in Silicon Valley! LIVE MUSIC, food, a petting zoo, Wells Fargo Stagecoach rides and much more.
Format:
The event has two main components, The HORSE FAIR in downtown Woodside and the PROGRESSIVE TRAIL RIDE for experienced riders and their horses. The event is open to the public. Admission to the Horse Fair is free while a small registration fee/donation is required for the Progressive Trail Ride which is one of the largest trail rides in the Western US!

To date, donations from our riders and sponsors have allowed WHOA! to gift over $110,000 to several important projects including the restoration of the historic Folger Stable, the Woodside Junior Riders program, and for the maintenance of equestrian and pedestrian trails in both the Woodside Trail system and in Huddart Park.
