The Marin County Fair: Let the Funshine In! celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Summer of Love emphasizing Marin’s dedication to the things we value most in our community, Family, Art, Agriculture and the Environment.
FAIR HIGHLIGHTS:
Psychedelic Liquid Light Show daily in the Showcase Theater.
Nightly Fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
Fantasy Fair Special Exhibit – Photographs of the Fantasy Fair and Magic Mountain Music Festival, the first music festival of its kind, kicked off the counterculture explosion atop Mt. Tamalpais on June 10th and 11th, 1967.
Virtual Reality – step back in time to visit the Summer of Love in virtual 3D.
Animals! Farm animals, Pig Races & Petting Zoo, Fur & Feathers Tent, Vaulting, Junior Dairy Cattle Show, Sheep Dog Trials, Junior Dairy Goats and Classic Beef Show, Market Swine Show and Pygmy Goats.
Special attractions --- comedy juggling duo, daily 60s fashion parades, Rawhide Express Train.
