Session 1: Hands-on assessment of present condition of your core musculature including measurement of abdominal separation, education on the anatomy and function of the core muscles that will be targeted during the classes and beginning exercises to reconnect your brain with your pelvic floor.
Session 2: Continuation of pelvic floor training with the addition of deep abdominal work that will heal separation and decrease abdominal bulging. Guided exercises will progress into various different positions with hands-on guidance as necessary.
Session 3: Progression of exercises including adding resistance bands to increase intensity.
Session 4: Final progression of exercises with dynamic movements added, guidance for safe re-entry into desired workout routines, educa- tion on how to maintain the progress made in 4-week series, re-measurement of abdominal separation, functional, postural, and biomechanics training related to all things baby/childcare.
This workshop is appropriate for any mom, with kids of any age, but geared specifically toward women with diastasis (abdominal separation from pregnancy), pelvic floor dysfunction, and/or a weak core.
Each week, Alicia provides a handout with detailed instructions of the assigned exercises. Educate yourself to prevent pain, incontinence, and long-term weakness!
$260 for 4 semi-private classes.
