Join us for a series of art workshops led by MCFL Teen Leadership Crew member Sofia Casano!
Art with a purpose is a series of four art classes designed to teach children about current world issues and events in an easily digestible way. Each project we complete will be both fun and educational, encouraging kids to think about our world in new ways! Check out what we'll be focusing on each week:
April 1st: Anti-Bullying posters: Learn about the harm of bullying and about how to be an ally by making posters you can take home! Sofia will also teach a lesson in using pastels to express your feelings.
April 8th: Our beautiful diverse world: Come and make a collage picture frame that shows off the beauty of all of the diverse cultures, skin tones and features that make each of us unique!
