Baby Food Cooking & Nutrition Demonstration II, August 30th

The second installment of baby food cooking and nutrition will happen at the Marin Country Mart Farmers’ Market on August 30th, from 10:30 am-12:00 pm. The Marin Country Mart Farmers’ Market has partnered with Fresh Baby Bites and NewboRN Solutions to teach you about preparing first foods. The class will focus on purées for babies’ ages 6 months and up using local, organic and seasonal ingredients. Join Registered Nutritionist Dietitian Heather Schwartz, and master baby foodie chef Marjan Esser, from Fresh Baby Bites, for a baby food cooking demonstration. Their combined knowledge will make for an informative and practical demonstration on making your own baby food, including key time-saving tips and the essentials on nutrition. The demonstrations will take place under the BIG farmers’ market tent on Saturday August 30th. There will be two 45-minute teaching sessions. The first is from 10:30-11:15 am, and the second session is from 11:15am-12:00pm.
