Are you a young singer interested in performing on stage, becoming a character, moving with grace and purpose, and communicating thoughts, emotions, and drama with the power of your voice? Come and spend an hour Backstage at BAVA, and see how our program works. You'll see final rehearsals for our upcoming spring showcase concert of Handel's opera Alcina and a musical theater revue-Say It with Music: The Songs of Irving Berlin.
Meet this year's BAVA artists and faculty, ask questions about what our Summer Symposium and next year's Bay Area Vocal Academy auditions will entail, and have some refreshments and social time with vocal performance enthusiasts. Parents, families, friends, and all lovers of singing are welcome.
