Berkeley Spark 3.0 Arts + Innovation Festival

This event is expired.
Spend the day with us in the East Bay as we present an arts and innovation festival featuring a day of creativity and community engagement. The festival, located in downtown Berkeley, highlights local art, music, food, and innovation. A benefit for Berkeley Spark, the festival features over 50 artisans, local tech companies, food crafters, non-profits and community groups.
Enjoy acoustic music from Laura Inserra of Samavesha, spend time with Zach Pine's Create-With-Nature-Zone, dance your way through the park with Barefoot Boogie, Ecstatic Dance Oakland, Soul Sanctuary and other DJs, organize a group of friends for a morning of yoga in the park, watch SF painter Michael Covington create his magic live, jump onto a collaborative community art mural by ArtIsMobilUs, meet Segue Fischlin and her electric-assit cargotrike, listen and dance to music streaming from the art car Unaverz, and meet local beer and wine vendors.
We're also the place for those who would like to enjoy the Burning Man culture here in our own backyards so stop by and meet artists who are building large-scale art projects before they head out to Burning Man, play interactive games and enjoy chill zones from local theme camps, spend time at the Berkeley Spark Playspace with DIY Burner Hack workshops, and if you're headed out to the desert - there will be an incredibly assortment of clothing, accessories, technology and other essential items.
The festival also offers a variety of local food crafters, including kombucha, olive oils, jams, kettle corn and Latin food, in addition to the incredible array of offerings by local farmers and vendors at the Ecology Center's Saturday Farmer's Market.
Berkeley Spark promises an inspiring day in downtown Berkeley. The festival is open to all ages and the park is pet friendly.
Directions: The festivals is two blocks west of the North Berkeley BART station. We recommend taking BART, bike, walk or carpool!
We look forward to seeing you there!
