Join us for a special day of recognition of mothers and to celebrate Center for Domestic Peace’s work with mothers and families throughout Marin.
Keynote: Peggy Orenstein, Author of Girls & Sex
Peggy Orenstein is the New York Times bestselling author of Cinderella Ate My Daughter, Waiting for Daisy, and Schoolgirls. Her new book, GIRLS AND SEX: Navigating the Complicated New Landscape, uncovers the complex world of sexting, casual hook-ups, and internet porn within the sexual landscape of today. Join us in celebration of mothers, as she discusses raising daughters in this complicated new world. Book signing to follow.

The event will include a robust and creative silent auction, a raffle of specially-themed baskets, and some added surprises.
All proceeds go to support Center for Domestic Peace’s transformational services and programs that protect and enhance domestic violence victim safety, and ultimately engage our community in permanent change.
