Some day your pooch will come! Masque Unit Theatre of Marin presents "Cinderella Gone to the Dogs!" a fun, one-hour interactive musical offering the perfect introduction to theater for children ages three and up.
Featuring book, music and lyrics by Ron Lytle, audiences will be delighted by this contemporary, fractured adaptation of the timeless fairytale featuring Broadway-style songs, dancing, comedy, magic and surprises. With a creative twist on the traditional "Cinderella" story, familiar characters are portrayed as dogs, except for the Fairy God-Mouser, portrayed as a cat. The musical story follows Cinderella as she goes from life in the doghouse to "Best In Show" at the Bow Wow Ball.
Immediately following each performance, the fully costumed cast will greet the audience and provide wonderful photo opportunities immediately following each performance.
Masque Unit Theatre of Marin is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization. Lauded and respected for presenting annual live musical theater experiences for youngsters and their families, Masque Unit marks its 56th consecutive year presenting fully produced stage performances retelling classic stories for children.
