California Coastal Cleanup Day is a state-wide cleanup event that focuses on cleaning California's shorelines, preventing plastics and other litter items from entering our waterways, and raising awareness about the harmful effects of trash in marine ecosystems. The event is part of International Coastal Cleanup Day, which is organized by the Ocean Conservancy and is the largest volunteer event in the world.

Please dress in layers and wear sturdy shoes. Remember to bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat. Light snacks will be provided. We request that no pets (except service animals) attend.

Adverse weather or may cancel. Check the calendar on the morning of the event to see if it is canceled.

Directions:

Meet across from Marin General Hospital at Hal Brown Park at Creekside (a table will be set up directly across from the hospital beside the paved pathway and a Marin County Parks pick-up truck). From Hwy 101 in Larkspur, take the exit for Sir Francis Drake Blvd west 1.2 miles. Turn left onto Bon Air Rd and follow 0.3 miles. The park is on the right.
