Day of the Dead Celebration Class for Families

Let’s celebrate the Day of the Dead, a holiday originating in Mexico and now observed around the world in other cultures. The holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to remember those who have passed away. This class will be an introduction to the celebration—showing visuals and folk art objects—as well as exploring the meaning behind altars created for the event. There will be themed hands-on art activities for families to work on together. Resources for additional learning and participating will be provided. RSVP by Oct. 22 to save your space
