Diwali: Festival of Lights

Join us at the library to celebrate Diwali, the Indian Festival of Lights, with stories, crafts, and color! Children will:
- Listen to a Diwali story that shares the traditions and meaning behind the holiday.
- Paint their own clay diya (lamp) to take home, a traditional symbol of light and hope.
- Create colorful rangoli art, using patterns and bright designs that welcome positivity and joy.
This hands-on program is a fun introduction to Indian culture and celebrations. All materials are provided. Families are welcome to stay and participate together!
