Drawing From Nature

Master storyteller Ane Carla Rovetta is also an illustrator! Come hear her weave a magical tale about the restless wind and what it does to our furry friends. Then, watch her bring the animal to life as she teaches the audience how to draw. We will use brilliant chalks to create our drawings.

Ane Carla Rovetta is a naturalist who has been teaching science and leading natural history excursions throughout the West since 1974. Trained as a vertebrate zoologist, she realized that art and storytelling add enchantment to the scientific process.
