Drop-In Art-Making

Every Sunday and select school holidays from 1-3pm, families can experience a new adventure in art-making free with admission to The Contemporary Jewish Museum. As always, the hands-on fun inspires children to learn more about the exhibitions on display in the galleries, the building's architecture, or holidays and traditions while experimenting with materials and art techniques.
Sunday, October 4: Paper Fashion Design with Patricia Bulitt
Storytelling and family memories combine with fashion to create a special experience featuring guest artist Patricia Bulitt. Visitors will combine collage, words, ribbons, and memories to create their own paper garments.
Sunday, October 11: Album Art
Inspired by the exhibition Amy Winehouse: A Family Portrait, turn on your inner pop star and create your very own album cover.
Sunday, October 18: Jazz Art Studio
As part of Art Beyond Sight Awareness Day, experiment with a variety of sensory art stations while listening to live music by the SFJAZZ High School All-Stars.
Sunday, October 25: Twirl, Light, Beep Art Lab
Discover how littleBits electronic building blocks, 3D printed objects, and everyday materials can be combined to create a unique piece of maker art.
FREE with regular admission as follows: Members and youth 18 and under, Free; General Admission, $12; Students with a valid ID and Seniors, $10.
