Welcome Spring in all its glory by meeting the Easter Bunny while doing fun Easter inspired crafts and culinary activities at the Marin Country Mart Farmers' Market, in addition to the Mart's annual Easter egg hunt. Children will create bunny crafts with reusable materials provided by SCRAP, and bunny snacks (think all things carrots) inspires the kid's culinary instruction, from 10-12. Baby chicks and a small animal petting zoo will be on display at Victoria's Fashion Stable, where children can also enjoy a pony ride. There’s children's musical entertainment featuring Scott the Storyteller from 9:30-10:30 am, with an Easter egg hunt with the Easter Bunny to follow. The Easter egg hunt begins at 10:30 am and will be held on the green in the courtyard. Children ages 1-7 are welcome. The farmer’s market will host a mimosa bar all day long, and there will be live music from 12-2.
The Farmers’ Market boasts all the farm-to-table necessities that you need for your very own Easter celebration including, organic tulips from Thomas Farms, lilies from Crane Creek Growers, pastured eggs, ham and lamb from Fallon Hills Ranch, organic vegetables (think asparagus and carrots!) from Capay Organic and County Line Harvest, and hot cross buns from Rustic Bakery. Oh, and don’t forget about sweet Easter basket goodies, like handmade caramels from CC Made, and chocolate walnuts from Old Dog Ranch.
