In this talk Ana will offer practical strategies on how to motivate today's students to develop the foundational skills needed to design their own blueprints for success, including a system based on executive functions, connections rooted in authentic socialization, perspective expanded through immersive exposure and a sense of acceptance to strengths and opportunities for growth. She'll offer insight on navigating parenting in the age of technology and how it all fits into the bigger picture of raising healthy, engaged young adolescents.

Ana is the author of four books, most recently "Erasing the Finish Line: The New Blueprint for Success Beyond Grades and College Admission" and is the founder of Silicon Valley based Green Ivy Educational Consulting and the executive director of Luminaria Learning Solutions, a non-profit initiative supporting executive functioning skill development in schools.

The evening will begin with a presentation from Ana Homayoun, followed by a brief conversation with Head of School Andrew Davis, followed by a Q&A. This talk will be hosted on Zoom and is for parents and guardians only. Please RSVP for the event here
