Alameda celebrates Latin community with FIESTA ALAMEDA, an extravaganza of music, dance, art and crafts, food and drink!
Alameda arts organization, West End Arts District, is thrilled to announce the first Fiesta Alameda, a free one-day event celebrating Latin music, dance, culture, food and drinks. Taking place on the Taxiway at Alameda Point with its unique views of SF and the Bay, the crowd will be jumping to the beats of headliners like Santana tribute band CARNAVAL, and dancing alongside carnival regulars SAMBAFUNK!. Head to the food court for a range of Latin fare, and over to the bar for Mexican beers and craft cocktails. Artists of all ages are invited to try their hand at traditional Mexican crafts and to peruse the wide selection of arts vendors from Alameda, Oakland, and beyond.
This free event is supported by funds from the City of Alameda Public Arts Commission, and the generosity of local corporate sponsors.
