Free Family Day: Somos Amigos: Songs on Common Ground

Friendship is at the heart of this joyful collaboration between Mexican songstress, Sonia De Los Santos, and the Americana folk duo, The Okee Dokee Brothers. This bilingual program includes both old and new songs that span the musical traditions of North America and illustrate the collective power of singing together and learning from each other. Family Day will have a festival feel with refreshments, face painters, and a variety of arts activities for children of all ages.
Family Day Schedule
1:30 p.m. Play Marimba! Performance
2 p.m. Sonia De Los Santos and The Okee Dokee Brothers concert
3 p.m. Arts activities, workshops, and demonstrations featuring Grupo Folklorico Quetzalen, Play Marimba, The Children’s Museum, Eros Mene, Sonoma County Library & SSU education students
No ticket required! All seating for this event is now general admission and on a first-come, first-served basis.
A wide variety of concessions including meals, snacks, beer, wine, and other refreshments will be available on-site. There will also be Pop Up Food Stands from Adobos N More and Kona Ice.
