After numerous adaptations, book series and merchandise spinoffs, America’s favorite “crime fighters on the half shell” are back with the August 8 release of Michael Bay's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. To celebrate, Barnes & Noble Corte Madera is hosting a Turtles - Jr. Ninja Training Academy Storytime on Wednesday, August 6th at 10:20am, with exciting activities and crafts, plus a fun-filled Ninja Training event, where participants will be trained as ninjas and receive a special Jr. Ninja Training Academy certificate. This event is perfect for children ages 5-10.
The August 6th Ninja Turtle event will be followed at Noon by a demonstration by special guest instructors from Marin Mixed Martial Arts! A second Marin MMA demonstration will take place on Saturday, August 9th at Noon! All ages are welcome to attend the Marin MMA demonstrations.
Starting Friday, July 18, and running through Sunday, August 10, Get Pop-Cultured with Barnes & Noble will bring exclusive and unique fan experiences to customers at Barnes & Noble Corte Madera and at all Barnes & Noble stores across the country.
