Spooky Square returns with a festive lineup of Halloween fun for the whole community. Families can enjoy a live magic show, a spirited kids’ costume contest, and the always popular dog costume contest. Creativity takes center stage as dogs and their owners compete for a $250 YAP gift card and bragging rights for the whole year. It’s a celebration of costumes, community, and seasonal cheer in the heart of Ghirardelli Square.

Schedule of Events:

  • 1-2pm: Spooky Magic Show 

  • 2-3pm: Ghirardelli Square Kids’ Costume Parade

    • participants receive a free candy & chocolate filled Ghirardelli Square tote bag

    • First come, first served.

    • No registration required.

  • 3-4pm: Ghirardelli Square & YAP Dog Costume Contest

    • Show off your pup's personality and spooktacular style for a chance to win prizes from YAP high quality pet gear.

    • (Bonus points awarded to human and companion matching costumes).
