Guided Nature Walk: Newts and Salamanders, Oh My!

Join our AmeriCorps members and our biodiversity intern on a guided nature walk around Lake Lagunitas. Let’s celebrate the changing season by exploring the wet woods and lakeshore. Together we can share our knowledge and appreciation for such water-loving creatures as salamanders, frogs, fungi, and lichen. Family friendly!
Meeting location is Lake Lagunitas parking lot at 1pm sharp! Parking passes are NOT provided, please purchase one across from the Sky Oaks Ranger Station. If you have questions, contact volunteerprogram@marinwater.org or 415-945-1128. Minors under the age of 16 must have a guardian present. Please bring a water bottle, closed toe shoes and clothes for variable weather.
Per Marin County COVID-19 Status Update for November 1, 2021 masks are not required outdoors. Staff will emphasize what a minimum distance of six feet looks like and why social distancing is important to maintain throughout the program.
