February 21, 2026 - 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
Lake Lagunitas Parking Lot
Sky Oaks Road
Fairfax, CA 94930

Join Marin Water for a broom pull at Pine Point by Bon Tempe Lake. Help protect the health of our oak woodland and grassland habitats by participating in Marin Water’s ongoing effort to remove invasive French broom, thus increasing the diversity of valuable plants and animals of the Mt. Tam Watershed. This is a hands-on opportunity to improve local ecosystems and connect with fellow nature lovers.

Registration is encouraged, but not required. This family-friendly activity is suitable for ages 8 and up, with parental supervision required for volunteers under 16. All first-time volunteers must sign our Volunteer Service Agreement, and all volunteers under 18 must have the form signed by a parent or guardian. Volunteers should be comfortable using hand tools, bending, kneeling and lifting.

Meeting location is Lake Lagunitas parking lot at 9 a.m. sharp for sign-in and breakfast snacks. Parking passes, tools, gloves, snacks and water are provided to volunteers. Please dress for variable weather and bring a water bottle. Call 415-945-1128 after 7 a.m. the morning of the event for updates in case of extreme weather (heavy rain will cancel).
