History for Half Pints: Sea Ranch, Dance, and Women's History Month

This event is expired.

This month we explore building with the historic Sea Ranch as a model and celebrate Women's History Month through art! Also, come join us at 12:00PM, for a Dance Workshop with Claudia from The Anata Project: Mindful Dance Productions.

Build your own Sea Ranch!
Use different types of materials to build an environmentally friendly community! Use blocks, driftwood, and more. How do different materials mold and change how you build?

Dance Workshop:
From 12:00-12:30PM Explore elements of creative movement through self-expression and play! Join Claudia Anata for a 30 minute class focused on developing self-awareness, problem solving skills and fun through movement exploration. The class will begin with a rigorous and engaging warm up and progress to group choreography centered on mindful performance practices. Ages 3-9 are welcome to participate. Parents are encouraged to attend with younger children.

Crafting Women's History:
Create a collage that highlights an important woman in your life! Could be a guardian, a historic figure, or someone you admire!
