Interactive Storytime with Raising a Reader at B&N!

Kerry Bacho of Raising a Reader will host two Interactive Storytimes at Barnes & Noble Corte Madera on Wednesday, December 3rd at 11am and on Saturday, December 6th at 11am. These Storytimes are free and open to the public and provided by the Bookfair Fundraiser for Raising a Reader of Parent Services Project.
In an effort to raise funds for their program, which promotes early literacy skills through an evidence-based program model that engages families in a shared reading program and increases low-income children’s access and exposure to books, Raising a Reader of Parent Services Project is working together with Barnes & Noble Booksellers by hosting a Bookfair at the Corte Madera store.
From Saturday, November 29 to Sunday, December 7, 2014, Barnes & Noble will donate a percentage of every sale made with a special Bookfair voucher to Raising a Reader of Parent Services Project! Vouchers (#11456415) will be available online at the Parent Services Website http://parentservices.org/. The funds raised from the bookfair will go towards supplying nearly 1,500 blue book bags to students transitioning from Preschool to Kindergarten in Marin County.
