“Jack and the Beanstalk, and the Giant, and the Goose, and the Really Truly-Uly Rotten Day" is a fun one-hour, interactive musical with book, music and lyrics by Ron Lytle, offering the perfect introduction to theater for ages three and up.
Children and families will be delighted by this contemporary, fractured adaptation of the timeless tale following Jack on his adventure featuring Broadway-style songs, dancing, comedy, magic and surprises.
Sprinkled with giggles and positive messages about tolerance and eating well, the story features adorable and wacky characters including the adventurous Jack; an overworked, underpaid Golden Goose; and a diminutive Giant with a very big Napoleon complex. Each performance is followed by a meet-and-greet, photo opportunity with "Jack and the Beanstalk" characters.
Masque Unit Junior Theatre of Marin is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization. Lauded and respected for presenting annual live musical theater experiences for youngsters and their families, Masque Unit marks its 54th consecutive year presenting fully produced stage performances retelling classic children's stories.
