For kids who love to share what they love to read!
Kids' Literary Karaoke is based on the successful Literary Karaoke events we hold for adults in our Oakland store, but this time the kids are in charge! Anyone aged 8-12 can take center stage in the store, grab the mic and read for up to 5 minutes from their favorite published book. It can be something new, a classic, something funny and silly or something that really makes us all think. Kids' Literary Karaoke is a fun and interactive way to share a love of books and maybe show off a bit too!
Anyone who purchased a Summer Reading bundle in June or July was qualified to enter a prize draw. Prizes include joke books, soft toys and DIESEL gift certificates. The drawing will be held today, so come on in and see if you are a lucky winner!
