23 Elephants Theatre Company's youth performers bring one of the world’s longest-running and most celebrated musicals to the stage at The Playhouse in San Anselmo for a limited eight performance run from November 9th – 18th.
Set in 19th Century France, Les Miserables: School Edition is the story of peasant, Jean Valjean, and his quest for redemption after serving 19 years in jail for stealing a loaf of bread. Valjean breaks his parole and his hunted by police inspector, Javert, at the same time that revolutionaries make their last heroic stand at a barricade in Paris. Winner of 8 Tony Awards and featuring such memorable songs as ‘I Dreamed a Dream’, ‘Who am I?’ and ‘One Day More’, this is a performance that the entire family will enjoy.
