DIESEL, A Bookstore in Larkspur welcomes author Amy Novesky and illustrator Sara Gillingham to the store to read and sign their new children's book, Love is a Truck,on Saturday, November 12th, at 3:00pm.
Love Is a Truck follows Love Is a Tutu (their ballet-inspired ode to tutus and toe shoes) in Amy and Sara's Love Is series. Love is a Truck is graphically appealing with two-color illustrations that pair perfectly with a spare, rhythmic ode to beloved trucks of all kinds, from fire trucks to dump trucks to ice cream trucks (the sweetest trucks of all), and to the kid who loves and collects them. This event is perfect for kids ages 2-6 and their parents and there will be a fun truck-related craft project too!
Follow us as the fun continues at 4pm to the nearby Tutu School when Amy and Sara read Love is a Tutu. The reading will be accompanied by a ballerina, followed by a fairy-wand-decorating craft and sweet treats!
