As part of the Terra Marin K-8 Parent Enrichment Speaker Series, Katie Vasicek M.A. will be speaking about something that is sure to hit home with many parents - the stress of the Holidays and the family dynamic. Join other parents to get some sound advice and guidance on "Keeping The Balance Through The Holiday Season".
What should be a warm time of connection and relaxation can actually bring anxiety to families. This workshop will focus on setting positive holiday intentions, incorporating rhythm and predictability and creating family traditions that connect us. She will look at the practice of gift giving (presence over presents) and ways to help children focus on gratitude over entitlement.
