Moonwatch 2016: Family Night Hike and Campfire
This event is expired.
Amazing moongazing! Using binoculars, a spotting scope, and telescopes, we’ll study the face of the moon and learn more about constellations and the night sky. Binoculars will be provided, or bring your favorite pair! Weather may prevent us from actually seeing the moon and stars, but we will still have fun and learn about the moon and stars!
This program features a short Environmental Science Educator-led hike in the Marin Headlands. After the hike we provide all the necessary supplies for some fun around the campfire including S'more roasting, campfire skits & fun sing alongs!
Please be aware that NatureBridge cannot be responsible for traffic conditions. Please give yourself plenty of time to arrive on time. Finally, cell service and GPS systems are unreliable once inside park boundaries, so please take a moment to find our location on a map.
