Mt. Tam As We See It: BayWood Artists Paint the Spirit of the Mountain

This event is expired.

The Marin County’s BayWood Artists are bringing their nationally acclaimed original painted works to the park in a benefit for the One Tam initiative with their show “Mt. Tam As We See It: BayWood Artists Paint the Spirit of the Mountain”. This passionate non-profit group will share their unique depictions of the mountain and its valuable resources at the Mill Valley Community Center this fall.

Since its founding 19 years ago, BayWood Artists’ mission has been to partner each year with a non-profit environmental group to produce a show that will both raise funds for and bring awareness to, Bay Area environmental causes. 50% of sales made from this exhibition will be put toward the One Tam initiative to restore the mountain.

Join us Saturday October 1st 11am-6pm and Sunday, October 2nd from 11am-4pm for a free public art sale of selected works by these celebrated Bay Area artists. A reception will be held Saturday from 3-6pm, where participating Artists will be available to talk about their works and the BayWood Artists organization.
