Nature for Kids: Bahia

This open oak woodland at the edge of the San Pablo Bay wetlands offers us a variety of habitats to explore. We’ll head to a nice clearing at the top of the ridge where the kids can explore, while we let butterflies and other creatures come to us. Remember to bring lunch. We request that no pets (except service animals) attend. DIRECTIONS: From Hwy 101 in Novato, take the exit for Atherton Ave east approximately 1 mile. Turn left onto Bugeia Ln, which turns into Bahia Dr at the “y”. Follow Bahia Dr approximately 0.5 miles. Trailhead is on the left before Bahia Dr dead ends.
