Nature for Kids: Birds at Las Gallinas
This event is expired.
Meet at the Las Gallinas Sanitary District water treatment ponds in San Rafael (310 Smith Ranch Road).
Join Shannon Burke, Interpretive Naturalist with Marin County Parks, and WildCare’s bilingual Naturalist, Marco Berger, for a stroll around Las Gallinas Ponds to observe the waterfowl that inhabit the area. This hike isn't just for the birds; We’ll also look for signs of river otters who are often seen swimming in the ponds. Remember to bring lunch. We request no pets (except service animals) attend.
RSVP required; space is limited. Questions or to RSVP: Contact Marco Berger at email@example.com or (415) 453-1000 x17.
