Novato Fire District Open House & Pancake Breakfast
The Novato Fire District invites the community to join us for the 3rd Annual Pancake Breakfast & Open House on Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Station 62, 450 Atherton Avenue, Novato.
This family-friendly event combines a delicious breakfast with a unique behind-the-scenes look at your fire district’s work. Guests will enjoy:
- A full pancake breakfast prepared and served by Novato firefighters.
- Opportunities to meet firefighters, explore fire engines and equipment, and walk through our drill grounds where crews practice hands-on firefighting skills.
- Fire safety education focused on the 2025 Fire Prevention Week theme: “Charge into Fire Safety: Lithium-Ion Batteries in Your Home”. This year’s campaign will help you learn how to:
- Buy safely—look for products tested and certified by recognized laboratories.
- Charge safely—use manufacturer-recommended chargers, charge on flat and stable surfaces, and avoid overcharging.
- Recycle safely—never throw lithium-ion batteries in the trash; dispose of them at approved recycling locations.

Advance tickets are just $10 per person (adults AND kids!) at www.novatopfa.org/2023/08/novato-fire-pancake-breakfast. Online sales close 48 hours before the event. Tickets will also be available at the door for $15 per person. We encourage residents to purchase in advance—helping our firefighters know how many flapjacks to flip and ensuring there’s a hot stack waiting for everyone.
All proceeds benefit the Novato Fire Foundation, which funds important community programs including the annual toy drive, Fire Squirts summer camp, scholarships for local students, and other initiatives that give back to our community.
