On April 23rd the Croatian American Cultural Center hosts the San Francisco Festival of the Mandolins. For the past 19 years there have been sit down concerts in the afternoon from 1-5pm proceeded at 12 noon by, the Bring Your Own Mandolin Orchestra which plays at noon. There will be good food & drink by Chef Hristo Kolev, and plenty of chances to listen to the best, and most diverse mandolin music in the world. Performing will be Aurora Mandolin Orchestra, Gus Garelick with Gravenstein Mandolin Ensemble, Dave Berry and friends, Ngirchoureng, and Easy Winners. The festival will honor the rich tradition of mandolin music in San Francisco.
