Star Party in Hauke Park

Join the Mill Valley Public Library and Marin Stargazers for a night of stargazing in Hauke Park South! Peek through the library's circulating Orion Starblast 4.5 inch reflector telescope, our StarSense Explorer telescope, and telescopes provided by Marin Stargazers volunteers.
On March 27th, we'll be able to see an array of brilliant treasures, with Venus, the "evening star" glowing in the west, followed by mighty Jupiter and its four Galilean moons, and our own beautiful 10-day-old Moon with its stunning craters and mountains, clearly visible in the telescopes we provide. The Pleiades or Seven Sisters, Sirius the brightest star in the sky, and Orion the hunter fill out the scene.
