Third-Annual Star Wars Reads Day Will Celebrate Literacy, Jedis, Wookies and All Things Star Wars
Children’s Storytime & Activities and Exclusive Giveaways Part of the Galaxy of Fun
Star Wars fans young and old are invited to dress as their favorite characters and join Barnes & Noble’s third-annual celebration of the popular intergalactic tales. Barnes & Noble Corte Madera will offer a special Star Wars Storytime with Activities and special guests from The Mandalorian Mercs costume group (Pssst…Boba Fett was a Mandalorian warrior and bounty hunter!). Exclusive giveaways provided by more than 10 publishers of Star Wars-related books and products will ensure Jedi and Padawans from every age group will be delighted and entertained.
“Our Stars Wars Reads Day is always a huge hit with both our customers and booksellers, and this year, our stores and publishing partners tapped into the ‘Force’ to ensure there’s something for the whole family at this event,” said Sarah DiFrancesco, Vice President, Business Development for Barnes & Noble. “Stores will have fun activities and give away Star Wars-related posters and stickers.”
