Novato, CA 94947

Join Ranger Gabe and the Marin Stargazers at Mount Burdell Open Space Preserve for an evening of stargazing. Mighty Jupiter, with its four moons, and Saturn with its rings will be on display along with treasures of the night sky like the Great Cluster in Hercules and the Andromeda Galaxy. Learn the stories of the constellations and connect with the cosmos with a star tour followed by viewing through telescopes.

Please dress in layers and wear sturdy shoes, bring a red flashlight and binoculars if you have them.

Air Quality Index (AQI) that exceeds 150 on AirNow.gov, or other extreme weather may cancel events. Check the calendar or call (415) 473-6086 after 8 am on the morning of the event to hear a recorded message if canceled.

Registration is required. For more information, contact Ranger Gabe at GNgarangad@marincounty.org.
