Stellar Solar Science at the Depot Plaza

Join the Mill Valley Library and Marin Stargazers for a (safe) peek at the sun to learn about solar science and eclipses as we prepare for the partial annular eclipse visible in Marin on October 14th. Dan Smiley of Marin Stargazers will facilitate a viewing through a solar telescope, and the library will distribute free solar-safe eclipse glasses which we'll use to observe the sun (and can also be used to view the eclipse on the 14th). Join us for learning, crafts, and fun for all ages!
