Highlights Include Barnes & Noble’s Picture Book of the Month, Bug in a Vacuum, and Max the Brave, Celebrating Heroes
What: The Full Moon at the Napping House Storytime
When: Saturday, September 5, at 11 a.m.
Details: In this long-awaited companion to the beloved classic The Napping House, a full moon is keeping everyone in the napping house awake. Finally, a musical visitor sends sleepy Granny, her energetic grandson, and their menagerie off to dreamland. Activities will round out the fun.
What: Llama Llama Gram and Grandpa Storytime
When: Saturday, September 12, at 11 a.m.
Details: Join us for a fun-filled Storytime leading up to the celebration of Grandparents Day! In Llama Llama Gram and Grandpa, Llama is going to visit Gram and Grandpa Llama and spend the night! It is his first night away from home and from Mama, and there are so many fun things to do with Gram and Grandpa. Coloring and fun to follow.
What: Bug in a Vacuum Storytime
When: Saturday, September 19, at 11 a.m.
Details: Barnes & Noble’s Picture Book of the Month selection, the company’s choice of the most engaging and entertaining stories, features this new and fun story. A bug flies through an open door into a house, through a bathroom, across a kitchen and bedroom and into a living room... where its entire life changes with the switch of a button. Will there be light at the end of the tunnel? Join us to find out. Fun activities follow the Storytime.
What: Max the Brave Storytime
When: Saturday, September 26, at 11 a.m.
Details: Max is a fearless kitten. Max is a brave kitten. Max is a kitten who chases mice. There's only one problem—Max doesn't know what a mouse looks like! Maybe Max doesn't have to be Max the Brave all the time. Join this adventurous kitten as he politely asks a variety of animals for help in finding a mouse. Activities will round out the fun.
Additionally, beginning September 8, customers can purchase Max the Brave at the special price of only $7.99 (regularly priced $16.99). Customers can also purchase Little Owl’s Night, for the special price of $3.99 (regularly priced $6.99). These special offers end on October 5 or while supplies last.
