Talking with Children about Anti-Semitism and Discrimination

This event is expired.

Join us for this interactive workshop and learn tools and strategies to help you communicate with your children about these difficult topics. We will discuss how to communicate appropriately at different stages of development to help children understand what is currently happening in our community, as well as the roots of anti-Semitism and hate in a way that decreases their anxiety and confusion. We will also focus on empowering children to respond to peers in their school environment appropriately and productively, as well as build a foundation for how to challenge hate in safe and effective ways.

The speakers are Karen Friedland-Brown Director, Parents Place on the Peninsula and Jacqueline Regev Education Director, Central Pacific Region, Anti-Defamation League.

The program is provided in partnership with Parents Place and the Anti-Defamation League.
